Choice one: In one year Trade in my truck towards a 2006 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE-R or similar $30k-35k car

or

Choice two: in a few months buy a 2005 Honda Shadow Aero or Spirit 750 (motorcycle) and keep my truck

what would you do?

(this is mostly out of curiousty)

pretty much my thoughts, my parents dont like my truck they say i put too much money into it blah blah blah...so i figured i buy myself a motorcycle and sink some money into that haha...

most parents dont understand putting money into vehicles as a hobbie or spending money on rediculous items that are fun to own. They feel it is a poor investment, which it is but those poor investments are also fun. You are young and you only live once so do what you want to do. As long s its your money and your not tied down it shouldnt matter what you do with it

keep the truck...I could think of several ways to drop a few thousand into it.

What kind of job do you have to have that much disposable income at 18? Just out of curiosity...because I want that job! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Hey man, I had a 2002 Honda Shadow ACE 750. Bought it the day i turned 18. Had wrecked it 2 times with in a year, but that shiit was still fun as hell. Those bokes are great. THe spirit is gear to accelerate fast, but the freeway speeds it isn't fun, its geared high and the rpms get up there and its tough to criuse faster than 70 and still be comfortable. (85 can be done, but its not something u wanna do for long distances. Did I mention I got in 2 accidets?

hmmm i dunno who that is but o well...for all those motorcycle riders out there, what are some good starter bikes? ive riden dirt bikes (my mighty yamaha 125 haha) and my parents scooters (a susuki 450 and a honda 650) around the yard, also i have a lil exp with my dads goldwing trike...so i pretty much know the shiftin gears crap...im just looking for a good first crusier

Subaru Impreza WRX STi.

If I had $35k, I would be at the dealership right now.

If you aren't down with an STi, R32s are hot. Great interior, naturally.
