My buddy has a downfire box built for his TJ and has 2 type r's in it.  Sounds pretty nice BUT when up high the subs hit the floor on some notes.  So now we have to add another inch on the bottom.  How much power you lookin to run? More SPL or SQ?  I was just gonna recommend SE's but see trigger already has.  Maybe run a mono   amp to each one?  Do you mind buying off ebay and what not?  Or is your $1000 strictly retail? Are you keeping your electrical system stock?</p></blockquote><p></p>
