Keeping in mind I'm thinking 70/30 SPL/SQ would it be worth it to buy a new custom made ported box for 2 12's instead of the box I have now? I'm just not sure it would be worth it to spend another 150 on a new box, and then having a useless box that I just bought a few months ago, but if this is what would be best for the long term then I should go ahead and get the new box and go for 12's if it would help me THAT much... If I won't notice that much a difference then I'll stay with the 10's. 2 10's = 50*pi of Surface area 2 12's = 72*pi of Surface area The reason I'm inquiring about this is because so many people on the boards run 12's or 15's or 18's and almost no one runs 10's. I don't really understand it that much. I have plenty of room in my trunk for a bigger box.
