I have 2 batteries. What i wanna do is put my Diehard Weatherlander under the hood of Hyundai Elantra GLS and run a positive lead of 2ga wire to my trunk to connect to my Optima Yellow top. The two amps i will be powering in my trunk are a Profile CA600 (150w x 2rms) and a modded mtx 1501d (1800ish at 1ohm). My mtx 1501d will be hooked up to a stinger 1.0 farad cap. My questions are: 1) Is the fact that the Yellow Top is deep cycle and the Diehard is not deep cycle going to give me problems? 2) Do I have to use a battery isolator? What exactly will an isolator do for me? 3) Are 2ga and 2/0 the same?
