Good morning audio elite!

My name is Carey and I'm auto junkie from upstate NY. I'm a Lincoln, Mercury, Dodge and Jeep sales associate. Been doing it for about 5 years now and I love it!

I've recently become consumed with automotive audio. I'm still learned a ton of new stuff every day...thanks to this website.

I've had some limited experiance. All of the HU I've owned have been Alpine. I've tried out JL audio & JBL subs. MTX and JBL amps. MTX & Cadence speakers. I've had good luck with these products so far.

Nothing really hardcore imo. The more I read this site them more I realize how tame my system really is!

I just bought a new vehicle (one in sig) and I'm working on getting the audio system put in it. Having a little trouble fitting my 12" JBLs behind the rear seat. Everything else fits.

I can't use my Alpine HU because I have Sync in my new Sport Trac and Sync requires the stock HU for the interface. That really annoyed me!

So If you have any ideas for my system I would love to hear them.

If anyone needs any information regarding Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Dodge or Jeep vehicles please let me know. I enjoy helping people find products that work for them!

Perhaps the Rockford Fosgate 360.2 would work. I thought if I ever bought a fusion with sync, I'd get the 360.2...
That looks like a very complicated amp. Not really sure how that gets around the Sync issue.

Just going to use RCA cables and not worry about the HU. I'm sure it will sound the same.

Am I correct?

It's not an amp. It's a type of line out converter designed for OEM intergrations. Basically turn your OEM HU "speaker wires" into RCAs and much much more. Especially if you have a palm pilot.

That's pretty cool. I'm not to advanced with tuning my own system yet...probably won't be since I really don't have time to mess with it.

Maybe it has pre programmed settings?

I ebayed my old *** palm pilot awhile ago. sob. I used it in college and I felt like a dork. The battery was toast so I had not used it in years. Love to have one again.

So obviously that would be better than RCA cables because you can customize your settings?

Flipx99, sounds like you have a good understanding of this product. Would you mind linking me to some resources? I suppose I could just google it but I'd rather read the same info the experts read.

Thanks guys.

lol. I hear ya. It was a nasty start 6 years ago but now the money is great. I enjoy it.

I actually sold RVs before this and that was hella fun. That market really dried up though.
