I like just about anything that has to do with cars. Speed is at the top and then sound and we can roll from there. I pulled my system out my car a few years back after my eclipse head unit stopped playing cds. It was a CD8443 and it run well with my two jlw3 12in subs, jl 500 mono, and my jl 300 x4. I damaged the 300 x4 when I wired it into my scion tc not knowing there was a preamp installed. I'm currently looking to build it back up with a jl w7 and either the 500 if it will push it well or a 1000. I have a scion tc and the first setup got me a lot of props at the car shows i used to attend. I want a stronger heart beat so i am in the reseach phase again.

Can't say I agree with that. Subs are the last thing I worry about when putting something together...

well, luckily Ive set the front stage to only play only 110hz and up highs, and a tad little mid bass, which means i can give em more headunit power before distorting.

point being, sounds like shit without any sub bass...

Whatever ya like, man. Personally, I'd rather have a nice front stage and no subs than four 12" subs on 2,400 watts with 13 watts going to my front stage.

Personal preference I suppose.
