HELLLP!!!!! Please!

Hi guys i just got a new Pioneer cd head unit and i dont know what went wrong !!! I hooked up all the wires purple to purple purple/black to purple black and so on and then i go to turn it on and wow it works But only the subs !?!?!?!?! Ahhhhh ! I spent two hours trying to figure out what went wrong..... does any know or have a wiring diagram Tha ti can go by the instructions dont explain to well....... O yes there is one wire left ova that it says that goes to the remote But i dont have a remote !!!! this is installed in a 1988 Ford Mustang....

did the speaker work before you installed the headunit?

yes it did i even hooked up my old one which was a jvc but the cd changer was broken but it still played when i hooked it back up
