ok now a new problem............ ok when i trun on my cd player sometimes the inside speakers wont come on but my amp and subs work fine...... whats the problem? i was thinking maybe its the fuse..... then i thought it was the remote wire but the cd player still comes on any help would be helpful

on some head units when one speaker is shorted out, it cuts the power to all the speakers. Check wires of all speakers and see if one is shorted somewhere.

He is right my H/u is a prime example, i was listening to mine one day and then all of a sudden it just shut off and only crackled, i couldnt figure out what it was until i checked the speaker wires and found that one of my rear speakers terminals came off and shorted out. I would check all the speakers wires (if possible) for loose wires that could possibly short to one another.

if your speakers were blown youd know. there will be sound coming from it, but it just wont be pretty. if your tweeters were blown then you would hear high pitch crap, and then just distortion from the cone if that part was blown. if you dont hear anything than its not ur problem

I already checked rca's ,,,,,,,, my amp works fine u can hear ther sound coming from th trunk and sometimes the inside speakers come on if i turn the car offf and on enough

could be pblm w/amp..

i had a similar problem... my amp couldn't handle the power my speaker required. i don't know if i said that right....

so here goes..

took amp hooked up the problem channel to a 5.25 speaker played fine.. then hooked up to a 6x9 and turned volume up and speaker then wouldn't play.. so i gotta send the amp off to get fixed (somethin internal)
