You need the yellow wire on the radio to go to a constant battery power source, that is one that is on when the car is off, it will show 12ish volts. the red wire needs to go to an ignition wire, that is a wire that shows 12v when the car is on only. It sounds like this is what your yellow wire is connected to.</blockquote>
