alright it might be dumb to ask but i had to old subs laying around and i got a bigger car my old ones are 4 ohm new ones are 2 ohm so that wont work. i know that much but is it possible to buy a recone and make the 4ohm subs into 2 ohm ????

i didnt know if that would work i mean i dont see why i would break apart the new subs which are the 2 ohm would make more sence to make to make the 4 ohm into 2 ohm

If they were blown, I could see reconing the subs, if the parts are available. If they are new/good, I would find another set that would do what you need. There are a lot of cheap subs that are good quality for the price it would cost for a recone. I have what is hard to find sub anymore dc audio lvl 2 8inch 4ohm and 2ohm deffenlty not found on the a low shelf I just wanna make my 4ohm into2 ohm
