ok, i have a pioneer 6800 and this just started happening in the past week. The vocals would cut completely out and my sub would just play. And sometimes the vocals would cut in and out and my the vocals will be all staticy. THis happened with both the radio and CD's. Im thinking that the HU itself it defective, but i went to best buy and the car audio specialist said that my alternator isnt chargin my batt fast enough and that why its cuttin out the front and rear components. He said that i would need a biger alt. So im checking with you fellas, and see whats up
