I have a 94 deville and i am looking at getting some headrest monitors. I have seen other people get kicked off for putting things in the wrong forum so I feel this is safe. Just wondering what is out there that is a good bang for the buck decent quality but not to crazy.

If I were you, I'd get em custom mounted into the headrests. Don't get the generic headrests off eGay. I'm not too sure on what brands of screens are the best, but I can say that if the price is freakishly low, the quality will be, too.

You didnt do anything with the stow and go in the back if my t&c wasnt a lease I would have done something it just seems like it is begging for a custom box back there

I put all my amps in it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

There's two types: the pre-fab monitors (usually a aftermarket generic headrest with a nice 7", 8", or 9.5" TFT monitor wrapped in matching "pleather" material) - comes in "Beige" or "Cream" color, "Brown", and "Black" to suit your needs. (Some are cheesey HARD cheap material but there are others like Vizualogic which makes nice soft faux-leather and/or real stuff). Another way is if your interior is cloth buy these which range from $250-$600 /pr depending where/who you get it from and have it wrapped at a local upholstery or custom shop.

Another method as mentioned by others is having it custom installed/cut into your vehicle BUT you lose having stock OEM headrests to have in the future if you decide to sell the car, etc.

*IF* your seats are the ones that don't have "headrests" then find somebody who can professionally install raw monitor (like in many Expeditions). Raw Monitors or Stand Alone Monitors run from $75-$150 depending brands - I recommend Farenheit or Power Acoustik (same company btw). XO Vision, Absolute, and similars are okay too.

As far as inexpensive monitors we have had very good luck with the soundstream 7" screens for stand alone. For premade headrest monitors we will only use Vizualogic. Excellent product, great support, I am friends with the marketing manager and the engineer who designs there stuff. For neat features and huge storage ability check out there vmod piece.

I have a set of GM headrest DVD players. The DVD player is built into the headrest. They come with wireless bose headphones. Very nice. I will get you the model number if you are interested. The only problem is they are black and arent really for a 94 Deville, but with some modifications they may work. Oh yeah they are brand new still in the box. PM me if you are interested. I just hooked supergumby5000 up with some GM parts for his avalanche at a very good price. I guess this deal will go for anyone interested.
