i hooked up my friends rf bd1000 to my hcca15 today. it played pretty loud, but not what i was expecting. i have it in a ported box 4.35ft^3 @ 31Hz. 46in^2 port area. is my box wrong, or should i look for something else? if i should look for something else, any sug? i thought this thing would pound alot harder than it did.

it 1200wrms, would around 1500w sound better wr would it be to much for daily driving?

so this sub WILL kick @ss if its tuned higher? is there any way to modify my box, or should i just start all over? tune to what 40-45? i don't have a SSF,tuning that high will hurt the subs wont it?

yea thoughs subs were ment to play at higher tuneing....

maybe even try a little bigger box and more port area....

thats as big as i can go. more area will tune it higher? tune it to what Hz?

tune to 35-37 or so, id give it more port area also, maybe in the range of 65-75 sq in

wellplaying with bbp6 if i was to use the whole height of the box 15.5" and made it 1/2" wider and 11" deep, would give me 62in^2@ 45Hz and 5.19ft^3. does this sound like it would be alot better for this sub?
