Ok right now i got 2 hdc315's in my tahoe but soon i will be trading it in for a dodge charger. They are too big to fit in the back of a charger so I was going to recone them into 12's or sell them and get 2 fi q 12's. If you owned both subs which one did you prefer over the other and why?

For obvious reason's i know the hdc3's are louder. I read that the sq on the Q's is great but personally I love the sq of my hdc3's. I came from some pioneer subs i got at a local shop to the hdc3's. Haven't heard many other subs because car audio isn't that big here. Most have kicker, sony and pioneer in prefab boxes around my way.

I can't compare to the hdc's but i have owned both the 12" SDC2.5s and a 15" FI Q, and i actually prefer the sound of the AQs over the Q. The SDC2.5s are in the box in my sig and the Q was in a 4ft^3 box tuned to 32hz.

I own both, HDC's in my ride, Q in the GF's car. Both are nice subs, but I prefer the HDC's. SQ can be VERY good on them and they'll take some power and get very loud.

Recone to 12's and do 4 cubes @ 38Hz. Did a box like that last year for a guy on here and it's a very nice set up...

Thanks to all for the feedback, think i will stick with the hdc3's. I will run them with my current amp (crunch gp3000d-pro) and you think 4 cubes total will be enough? I was thinking 2.5 cubes per sub or should i go with 4 cubes?
