Must have been. It was out of a 2009 camaro and makes somewhere around 450 he told me. Just different tastes is all. I was more interested in the Dinan M3 that he had in his shop as well. The 638hp they got out of that motor. From what I have read/heard. Is pretty much the most they can get out of it reliably because of the Cam being in the block. And I do understand that the GM motors are more affordable. I am not much of a "speed" guy. I drive more for the turns, getting to work and depending on which car I'm in. The experience. For me. A completely bare bones, no power steering, no A/C, no power windows, manual everything, light as possible and an engine that puts out modest but reliable power would be a dream for me. I normally hate trucks/SUVs. But a friend of mine 6 months ago got a Duramax. And now whenever the group hangs out. That's the vehicle we take. And I have grown to actually like it. The diesels definitely have more life in them than the gas models. And he drives like a douche and still pulls off 19mpg. Sorry for that boring azz rant. What are you into?
