Hatchback Window Rattle, suggestions?

Hey I have had a system in my trunk for about a month now and the hatch window rattle has gotten progressively worse. It's to the point where I hardly have any bass on at all and it still rattles. It basically sounds like it is about to fall out. How can I fix this?

whats your setup? which hatch you got? did you deadened something?

you sure its not the hatch lid?

I have a 01' Ford Focus ZX3. The back end was messed up pretty bad in an accident before so the hatch isn't perfect. I'm not sure what you mean by "setup", "which hatch", and "dead end" though.

However, I'm almost positive it's the window and nothing on the actual door.

just get a lot of deadening materials and go to work

I used some topper stuff? I dunno what its called but it worked ok.

What kind of "deadening materials" and how/where do you put them in?

I'm "assuming" the hatch is rattling, not the actual window.

Check to see if you can adjust how tightly the latch closes the hatch, that might help. Also you can add weatherstripping around the opening to make it seal tighter.

If that doesn't help then weld it shut!!!

go get some weather stripping, or the foam tape used for trucks for putting camper lids on, line the whole insde part of the hatch where meets the car with that, and then shut it, this should help some, then prob need to dynamat, or something along those lines the hatch area also.
