[QUOTE="OldOneEye, post: 2626906, member: 547986"] Here is a fun fact. UPS drivers are union and work for UPS. Fedex drivers are not, they are contractors. A UPS driver leaves a box on a porch and it disappears, he isn't on the hook for it. The Fed Ex guy (ground anyway) it might come out of his pocket. So they are alot more adament when the come doing an investigation. Both are under DOT rules that limit the amount of time they can be driving a day, and they count lunch towards that goal. They are also fighting against DHL which is partly owned by Deutsch Post (the german post office). So its a race to get as many packages out as fast as they can. At this point, they make more money doing address verifications than they do shipping packages (as far as gross profit). You forget to type in an apartment number in a shipment and they clip you like $5. Do you think it takes $5 to do an address look up? How about if your sitting in a call center in India?
