Two hard drive docks I really dont have a use for. Both can use either 2.5" laptop drives or 3.5" desktop drives. These are great for testing multiple drives or if you need to swap drives out often and since they arent enclosed like other "enclosures" the drives stay much cooler when running

Dock #1(Brand New in Box)

Rosewill RX-DU100 2.5” & 3.5” SATA to USB2.0http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182196

Dock #2(used for about a week)

VANTEC NexStar NST-D100SU Plastic 2.5" or 3.5" USB 2.0 & eSATAhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817392022
$25 each shipped or $45 shipped for both

how do these things work? does it plug into usb and read like an external? my laptop needs a motherboard, wont charge battery, i have most of my stuff on my external but would be nice to be able to get into the hard drive

they work exactly like an external except they are hot awappable and you dont have to take the thing apart to swap drives

plug in the ac adapter, plug in the usb cable to your pc and slide the drive in the slot like you would a piece of bread into a toaster and your ready to go:)
