also on the cheapness of there items its only some items and for the price you can afford to burn them up since most name rand items break soon after the warrnty runs out ...some items they carry are built in the same building as your name brand just dont have the mainstream name on it and thats all you mainly pay for is that name ...im not saying they sell the best tools but some of them are build with the same parts others use ...the orange power tools are a line that rigid makes ...and its easy to tell what is a crappy tool there

Chicago pneumatic makes most if not all of their air tools, and they have been an american tool company since the late 1800s. I bought my engine hoist and shop crane from there and i have lifted ENTIRE cars with a cylinder and hoist rated for 1 ton. Been using it for a while, too.

I guess people will always be jelly when you can do the same or better than them for less money. People hate on the cheap equipment just like they hate on the cheap tools, but in the end its all the same.

i think their Chicago brand is an attempt as a to knockoff to Milwaukee brand tools...i guess they are both pretty much the same quality ....though

i can understand buying cheap stuff like a heatgun and stuff like that BUT if you plan on using these tools everyday to make your living like i do then harbor freight isnt where you buy tools because like i said they are cheap and break pretty soon after first use a lot of times.. i can imagine that some of them do hold up tho.. hand tools like screw drivers, hammers, whatever like that i can see using from there maybe
