Believe what you want and question what you want. Doesn't change the fact that there are people willing to die for their religion, and people will die for their science. Its just basically all what you want to believe and what you want to question.

Which is my entire point. People are quick to accept science and even quicker to ditch religion when they are, in fact, in the same vein.

Personally, I prefer science, but I also realize that it is every bit as much a belief as religion is.

i honestly have nothing to believe in. when i die i may or may not find out the meaning of life. i'm not going to sit and worry about it however

I agree science is belief as religion is too, but science is based on facts and observations while religion is based solely off of beliefs. There is no supporting evidence that there ever was/is a "god".

Even the linear scale of mathematics from which virtually all science is derived is no less a belief than religion.

I mean, prove to me that 1+1=2. You can't.

is there not cosmic radiation left over from the "big bang"?
