how would I get caught? and why wait?

A court order to CarAudio.com for your IP. Then a call to your ISP to get your account information. It's not that hard.
To pay and support the developers of the game. If you think it's good and plan on playing and keeping it, pay for it.

I will be one of the first in the country to get the xbox and PC version. I just called my microsoft contact and I will fill you in when the PC version will be available. I love my job!

My rep said 11/9 but I think that that is the xbox street date too. I will double check to make sure.

Uhm.. your "rep" is full of crap. There is no PC version of Halo 2 in the works. A port may be offered in a couple of years, but not before Microsoft has milked all the sales of Halo 2 on XBOX that they can. Many people have purchased an XBOX just for Halo, and are doing so just for Halo 2 as well.

Trust me, if there was a PC version of Halo 2 coming anytime soon, the public would know about it.

To those worried about getting caught....you aren't going to get in trouble for having the game. Your trouble starts when you distribute, not posses, the title.
