Ha ha! now this is a great job listing!

LOL!

This is my favorite line:

"This position entails taking inbound phone calls from clients with incredibly unrealistic expectations, who need to be simultaneously told that they are extremely important to us, and that there is no way we are going to meet their ridiculous demands."

Small Printing and Mailing company located just north of Downtown Denver seeks an energetic, detail oriented, highly diplomatic employee with excellent phone and communication skills. This position entails taking inbound phone calls from clients with incredibly unrealistic expectations, who need to be simultaneously told that they are extremely important to us, and that there is no way we are going to meet their ridiculous demands. The basic idea is to tell the client “no” and have them thanking you by the time they get off the phone with you. Does that sound like a nice challenge? It is! You will also be expected to enter complex details regarding client jobs into our production database, so please, do not apply for this position if you are not extremely comfortable working with computers- as this will be a huge part of your job.

We offer a relaxed, fun work environment, competitive benefits and pay (based on experience), and opportunity for growth. We also have a killer espresso machine. Perhaps it is the caffeine, but we are one of the few printing and mailing companies who aren’t suffering in this economy. We have been in business for 13 years, and are currently experiencing record growth and sales- if that sounds like something you are interested in being a part of, please respond to this posting!

Here’s the catch- we want to weed out people who can’t follow instructions or think creatively- so if you would like to be considered for an interview, please reply in the following manner- when you click on “reply”, erase the subject line and replace it with the first three words that come to mind when describing yourself. Begin the e-mail with the hourly compensation from your previous/current job, and what you are looking to earn at your next position. If you have experience working with any graphic design programs, please state your experience level and with what program, as this will be a nice plus. Please don’t overstate your experience- we will know! Then, please describe what kind of a job you are looking for and why this particular position seems like it would be a good fit for you. Please attach your resume in either .pdf or .doc format to the e-mail. Any and all resumes/replies with typos, misspellings, poor grammar, or that don’t follow the above directions will tell us everything we need to know about you in order to weed you out... Everyone else can expect to wait a couple of days to hear back from us while we read through the responses. We hope to interview between June 11th and June 16th, and are looking for people who can start immediately (or after giving appropriate notice to their current employer if applicable).

Thank you for taking the time to read this posting, and we look forward to hearing from you!
