Guns

Love Guns..My Second Hobby..LOL..Love my YougoSlav. SKS,and My AKs,40s,22s,30/06,7mm mag,35,45/70,45 acps,mini 14s,12gas,several others.I have quite a collection:naughty:

I like guns. I used to have a norinco (chinese) SKS. It was a piece of crap. I've got a little 10/22 with some mods, I love that gun.
I bought a 10/22 a few months ago during the frenzy but ended up selling it. Then I decided to buy another one but couldn't find one anywhere. I ended up buying a Mossberg Plinkster. It's a fun gun but nowhere near as many mods available for it. I love shooting my Russian SKS. I also have a Yugo and a Norinco but have never shot them. I just haven't had time lately //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

10/22's are awesome lol. I've got probably 400-450 in mine (including the gun). Once I get a new stock and barrel I should be getting sub MOA groups at 100 yards.

Anyone really into guns? Anyone shooting the SKS? Saiga (non-converted)?
Yeah but I like nice guns, those dont qualify. Actually I have a SKS somewhere, I havnt shot it in years, I think it is burried in my closet somewhere. I have several AR's, from full blown custom target versions to tactical versions, and about 3 dozen hunting rifles, shotguns and handguns. I am a avid hunter, target shooter and reloader.

Sweet gun. I have an M48 8mm Mauser. Ammo is really cheap when buying surplus.
What type of groups does it shoot?

I'd like to get a budget mid-range target gun. I was looking at mosin nagants and have heard anything from 1moa to 3+moa, ugh.

I think the old Mosin Nagants, 303s, SKSs, and Mausers are very nice. It's not always about price.

I'm not a real good shooter but many people say its a pretty accurate gun. I have two Mosin Nagants. I've only shot the short tanker one. Using surplus ammo it makes big fireballs because of the slow burning powder. Pretty cool //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If you like them that is all that matters. I have owned everything you mentioned, they are good guns but I won't own anything that won't shoot less than a 1" group at 100 yards, and those won't. I am a stickler about accuracy of a gun, I spend alot of time at the range, a accurate gun is just as fun and cost the same to shoot as a inacurate gun, but the accurate gun is more rewarding to shoot. JMO. You do get what you pay for in the firearms world.

This is probably the most accurate factory gun I own, it is a Bushmaster Varmiter Speciall SS with a Bushnell Elite 4200 6.5-24x scope.

A 15 shot 100 yard group. With this bone stock AR varmiter. This is why I like good guns.

Very impressive Reinhardt. I know what you mean. I just traded my mini 14 for my first 1911 (Ruger SR1911). Wow this thing shoots great and less than $700!!!

I have been wanting one of those Ruger 1911's. I love the 1911!!, I have two, I have a Safari Arms Enforcer ( a compact 45 acp 1911) and a full size Smith & Wesson Tactical Rail 1911. I have only had 1 Ruger 1911 in my hand and it was really nice, I should have bought it when I had a chance, they are pretty hard to find around here.
