ok, so i'm watch mr./mrs smith' and i keep lookin at brads gun and was like 'wow, i wonder what kinda piece that is?' i went to a gun shop yesterday and looked at a few semi-autos. i was wondering what kinda gun would y'all recommend that a suppressor/silencer can fit on?

Silencers for the general public are illegal.

Having said that ~ most semis can be fitted with a silencer if you can get someone to do the machining for it.

most states are really stict about silencers and other things of the sort (collapsable/folding stocks, pistol grips, grenade launchers is kind of a given, limited magazine capacity, etc...)

most states are really stict about silencers and other things of the sort (collapsable/folding stocks, pistol grips, grenade launchers is kind of a given, limited magazine capacity, etc...)

Alot of those ^^^^ restrictions are Federal rather than state regulations, applicable in all 50 rather than selected ones.

federal on assault rifles. most even assaults can have one, but not more than one of those things, and no more than a 10 round mag.

You can own a silencer. You cant use it.

But hell, why do you need it? You can try and take it to the gun range, and get caught, or you can go shoot someone and not get caught. Thats just what they are for tho. Silence... to not be detected. Lol what do you plan on doing with it? Someone on the forums stiff you? lol just kidding.

if for some odd reason you need to kill someone, like if you are getting robbed or something, killing them with a machette means you are going to be too close to them. only a true dumbass would take a machette over a gun. if you are close enough to stab them with a knife or cut them with a machette, you are TOO close to them. only use something other than a gun if there isnt a gun available, or escaping would be best.
