A lot of peole listen to their DD's and are in the 140's........some in the higher 140's, but nothing wrong with that score. As long as it sounds good, then enjoy it!

I am in the same boat with my new setup. I might be dissappointed if I didn't hit 140, but if not and it sounds killer, then thats all I care about. Not into SPL that much anymore anyway.....well maybe a little, lol!

Well when I line up an SPL ride, then I'll be concerned about numbers. I have the equipment, just not the car.

Thats cool, but you might be able to do good numbers in your car, just would require a lot of work. I was doing 150's with my Cutlass with 2 modded MTX 1501D's and 4 9500's and a nice electrical.

Whole rear deck was taken out, reinforced for driveability and my entire rear deck was made out of 3/4 MDF as well as the port. Was a lot of man hours and what not, but well worth it.

Oh and I didn't do it, was my buddy who owned his shop and had my car for 2 months, lol!

So would take some time to get it loud.

yeah you're trunk is huge, back seats probably dont fold down, generally leakiness throughout the sound waves path through car, and the box seems like it sound be tuned a lil higher too....

Yea, I'm not hacking up my car to do that.

Came out sweet though. Just have to know how to support the rear deck the right way and have at it. I think it was stronger than factory after we were done with it, lol!

I was actually disappointed. My top score was 139.8 @ the dash with the driver window down. Just based on my first run, at my usual volume all the way up, I hit a 133.4. I tweaked the crossover and hit a 138 sealed at the dash with two step. I hit the 139.8 with the same song. I wanted a 145 but I feel that for my daily driver, that I don't use for SPL and will not use for SPL, 1 sub and 1 amp, 138 is not too bad for a trunk car with no SPL provisions.
