I don't think I ever actually knew their names. One of them I txtd about his Alpine Type R and asked him his lowest price and what ohm they were and he went off on me about how "he doesn't know audio so he's not gonna spout off about random specs and obviously I dont either or I wouldn't be lowballing him on the best speakers ever made". His name was saved as "Alpine Idiot" in my phone.I bet I know each and every one of them too... Remember any names?
I would rate about 97.9% are retards. WTF why did I not see the Memphis ST1500d locally? And I didn't even want to try and talk to that modded 400rms kicker guy.... I saw that and just said WOW and moved on. There was a guy in Valdosta that had an RF T4000 I was trying to get but he didn't want me to test it because I would "hook up his amp and blow it before I bought it" I do want to go up to that audio shop in Albany near the Longhorn steakhouse & hospital just to check it out. And the pawn shops. And the Putt-Putt (I lived there about 20 years ago on Hardup Road, the one by Goodtimes LOL)I don't think I ever actually knew their names. The other guy, I went with a friend to buy a Kicker zx400 and he was telling us all about how the amp had been modded by Steve Meade and probably did close to 2000wrms at one ohm if you could keep the voltage up and that the only reason he was selling it was because it kept making his car shut off. We sat there and acted like we were just completely amused and let him keep spouting off. It was great.
I got my O/S Memphis ST1500d off a guy in Cairo though and he was pretty cool, so I guess not all of em are retards.
That memphis was def a great deal at $150 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suave.gif.858fc102f7646e678ee8af7e1fbc41d1.gif I already had one at the time and got that one too b/c it was so cheap.I would rate about 97.9% are retards. Yeah well a guy from work wants me and the gf to visit his place in Albany and go mini golf with them. I'd like to take the GF to Cheehaw too since it's been damm 20 years since I've been there too. And todd must be that guy that runs the American Bass subs (like 30 10" i think???)That memphis was def a great deal at $150 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suave.gif.858fc102f7646e678ee8af7e1fbc41d1.gif I already had one at the time and got that one too b/c it was so cheap.
That Audio shop near LongHorn shut down a while back assuming you're referring to Custom Sound. That was probably the nicest shop we've had here. There's a Maggie Moos, Moes, and some Nail shop IIRC there now. Not sure what shop you're talking about near the Hospital unless you mean Sound Wave which isn't too far from the hospital. Where Joel and Clint and Burt work. That shop charges top retail dollar for everything though. Only reason I go is to chill with the guys sometimes. Our pawn shops suuck if you're looking for some nice rare pieces. Todd at GA Loan and Pawn knows SPL though and his van has made ppl throw up numerous times. There's a newer pawn shop up near Leesburg that had some Image Dynamics stuff once for cheap. But, the workers dont seem to know the products too well. Putt-putt is now "Fun Park" ,Hardup is the street my best friend used to live on, and Goodtimes has some pretty decent wings. lol
Yupp Todd is the AB guy. Last I knew it was 16 12s, but he was rebuilding for the show in Daytona.Yeah well a guy from work wants me and the gf to visit his place in Albany and go mini golf with them.
