Oh a good 16 or so years ago, I used to enjoy the sound of a good sound system. My first car (well truck) was a 87 S10 standard cab. Had 2 12" Pioneers sealed in separate boxes (about 1cf each), tried several different amps but I think the best one I had was an old Punch 150a2 (it kinda looked like a bat, lol). There was only 2 other systems here where I live, both have long since moved. Upgraded to a Explorer and a Audiobahn ABP12. Definitely a difference going from sealed to ported. Anyway that is how I started. After a few years of drooling at high end competition systems in a few car audio magazines that I was subbed to, I kinda drifted away (starting a family kinda helped with that drifting also).
Anyway, fast forward to today and I am kinda missing the good sounds of a system, with this new minivan I got (stock systems still sound crappy). After searching, plotting, and lurking the internet I found this website. I figured after a few months of reading and searching a lot on here I decided I should just create an account and just start talking and asking.
