Green TV Symbols?

anyone know why a bunch of the tv stations have their symbol in green all of a sudden? nbc, usa and a couple others have their symbol on the screen green? just wondering why...

thought maybe they are mocking the writers strike cause they are asking for more money but that doesnt sound right lol

the whole going green stuff drives me nuts....i mean i actually heard one scientist say the fires in san diego this year was because of global warming.....

the worst of those fires they found were deliberately set and california has been having wild fires since the early 1900's.....were we killing the environment then too? morons...

i too wondered what irish holiday it was when i saw it lol
