Greatest martial arts movies

I am a huge Kung Fu movie fan and own tons of them. I would agree that Bruce Lee would have been the best if he lived longer but for a full collection try Jet Li's earlier films before he came to America. The #1 Kung Fu movie IMO is Fist of Legend with Jet. Donnie Yen is also a great Kung Fu actor as well. But definately try Fist of Legend, a great fighting movie without the comedy.

Kung Fu Hustle is siiick. I also own Only the Strong, as mentioned previously, this movie used to be my favorite movie when i was a kid. I found the tape not too long ago, it had been missing for some time. Of course I had to watch it. Back when I was a kid this seemed like the best movie, but now its so **** corny. Its always fun to take a few bong loads and laugh your *** off to early 90's corniness.

capoeira is the shit. i need to see that one. that type of martial arts is jus nuts. and must be tireing as hell to do
it isn't technically a martial art //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i usually despise kung fu movies unless the people are actually doing things realistically. i do not like jackie chan because the things he does no one else would do, or have time to do outside of a movie. however, every bruce lee movie and fist of legend, the defender and the enforcer are all decent ones. fist of legend is the greatest one imo (one with the general, no? (back breaker, fights him at the end))

I just watched Kung Fu Hustle and it was bad a**, very creative.....

it will definetly be one of my favorites,

I think the best of all times has to be Enter the Dragon...

Just watched Ong Bak starring Tony Jaa and loved it..

badass fight scenes..., the art of Muay Thai ain't no joke

I heard Tony Jaa has another moive coming out that is BETTER than Ong Bak called Tom Yum Kung, can't wait to check it out....!!!

Just watched TYG and you guys must see it. I ordered the VCD thru Hong Kong and is better than Ong Bak....way more moves and his skills are even more reveiling.

I was recently on vacation in thailand and bought a copy of TYG and watched it.

The fight seens were excellent, overall a good movie. It also helps that I can speak thai because the thai version is in thai with a few seens in English/Austrailian...

I bought it for about 100 baht or $2.50 US LOL...

I hope they come out with a DVD version for the US
