Great 1964 Playboy interview with Ayn Rand

It is long, so be prepared for that in advance. It largely discusses Rand's philosophical views, focusing on Objectivism and what is mostly a pre-cursor to modern day Libertarianism. Though her novels and ideas were (and still are) critically acclaimed, many people still are unaware that such concepts even exist and cling to failing systems (ie. the current political landscape).

Thanks a lot for this. I'm about half way through it, but need to go back over it to imprint it more over.

I've never read Rand, but am very familiar with her work and phiosophical preface. I'm just not sure with myself if what she puts forth is not too individualistic or selfish....
