it should be done. i know someone on this site can do it.i liked the 12 challenge on roe. i know lots of people ask whats better kicker 1500 Rf1500 sundown 1500. if 1 person tested the amps for everything from watts to how easy it goes into protect at certain ohms and posted the results people wouldnt have to ask whats the better amp.

Amps come with birthsheets because each one's a little different;

Therefore the test results couldn't really be valid, especially if Amp A would do 1001wrms, and Amp B would do 1002wrms. Amp A1 may do 940, and Amp B2 may do 1105.

dont manf's just do a test on one or a few amps of a certain batch and call that the power for all of them in that batch? a birthsheet dont really tell much about your certain install either, which of course has many different variables possibly not present in the manf's tests...

like impedence rise and voltage drop. its easy to get results that are hundreds of watts over rated when you have an unlimited variable power supply and a clean load on the other end.

Everyone knows jl wats are at least THREE times as loud because JL uses special wattage with there amps...
