Audio... i salute you... thanks for upping the ban...

everyone who is bishing about the ban... c'mon, do you guys really not see the reason behind it? i like shit talking as much as the next guy, but there really is a point... and when someone is going through something as painfull as that, there is a line you don't cross... has nothing to do with the rules here, but just plain human decency.

It can be said that the rules change in the t-dome, slightly. But the reality is that the mods have always made it clear that they reserve the right to make judgment calls as they see fit (since no amount of rules can cover all circumstances). I respect WD's decision to place the ban, and the length, and usually I would not interfere with his call. But when I read gtgtp's reply that he not only isn't here for car audio, but clearly came back to create problems with active members, I felt it was fair to show him to the door on a more long term basis.

We mods want to allow you guys freedom, but we also have an obligation to maintain order and respectfulness here. Coming to this forum, saying you really dont care about car audio, and then raising as much hell as you can with other members, is a sure way to get yourself banned. Call that unfair if you want, I feel its the only way to maintain a semblance of order without creating a mountain of rules. Hopefully you guys understand.

Well, your 'passing interest' in car audio can pass right on by ca.com and move to another forum. I just set your ban to permanent, for bypassing the original ban. And if you return again in a similar fashion, I will simply ask Goob to IP ban you. So take your passing interest, and your fucked up idea of humor, to another site.
