They're trying to do everything they can to make it so we dont go into a reccesion (as if we arent in one now) but they are just making things worse in the long run.

Money is nothing but a bunch of meaningless numbers.......the govt. is redistributing and protecting the interests of itself and our economy. If they didnt do this we would be lookin at another great depression that could have been prevented which is what they are trying to do. I dont know much about economy either but this is my opinion

ya not really making things worse in the long run...... and in response to the "election year" comment,

in simplest terms,

Shit gets ****ed up when trying to ease the public and persuade them into voting for new 'leaders'.

i promise our govt. is nowhere close to running out of money. Maybe our people but that is b/c most of USA is lazy ****s who do nothing but live on wellfare and minimum wage; who are also in credit debt b/c they thought they could afford an escalade on 24's

Actually they were talking with some expert on CNN about the depression and he said we are pretty close to the old depression, but a lot of people don't notice it being there is so many more people in the US.

fannie mae and freddie mac were not moving any note's, they were just sitting there. and keep in mind they hold like 70% (just a number I kinda made up, but it's close for sure) of mortgage notes in the U.S.

So either the largest mortgage note holder in the u.s goes out of buisness (not good) or the gov. stepped in to get them moving again.
