GOT MY MOFO 12 and OMG

I finally got my MOFO 12" subwoofer , UPS tracking showed the shipment weight at only 16lbs. I was like wtf , worried I got ripped on ebay. When it arrived everyone told me " omg " that thing is heavy whats in there.

When I got home from work that night and looked at the subwoofer , all I can say is **** !!!!

SO all and all , how do yall rate this subwoofer ? Anyone got Box demension's for a single MOFO 12.

Whats the loudest spl anyone in here has heard out of a single 12" MOFO.

Fast comparission with the givens.

Reliable ??? Give some examples yall are the pro's

Which do yall reccomend for cleaness that will move this thing. A lanzar vibe 268 2000W amplifier didnt even move this subwoofer !

I want to stay single subwoofer , but with a 1994 camry XLE V-6 , any suggestions ?

Oh , and ... they say rated at 1200WRMS continuous and 2400Watts peak, but can handle 56% more power ... is this true ? ANyone abused the sub to see how much this thing can really handle ?

I appreciate the help ! Im going to build the subwoofers enclosure today with rectangle port , but am curious if anyone else has altered the box demensions for an output that was better than man. specs ?

yeah you can abuse it but only in Competitions, daily it won't handle it for more than a afew months (since it is the spring time and it's warmer). Get a PA A1800DB and it'll be more than enough.

ehehe yeah when Dave sent me the sub, i picked up the box, walked 5 steps and put it down to catch my breathe, lol. All i know is that in 2-3 weeks i'll have enough to send the sub back to him, upgrade and get a new video w00t!!!

don't even think 2 hard about it. this thread is ludicrous in itself. why the hell would he buy it knowing as much as someone who's been in a coma for the past 20 yrs? i could tell u every single spec of the SX 15 as i've been wanting one since 8th grade, or whenever i first lurked on here.

don't compare the MOFO with the W7, it's only a lower class Pure SPL sub but it's a sub that can pack a HUGE punch.

you are very quick to jump to conclusions, and there's nowhere on this site that i think i'm the be all end all of audio. if that WAS the case, then why would i be on here learning before i even had a driver's license? i dispense my information as needed, and if wrong, i admit it. you'd see that if u cared to look at things as a whole.
