After entirely too long of a vacation amongst the ranks of the immobile Gossamer has returned to the land of the living!

Apparently I picked the wrong friend to help me out as this took waaayyyy too long to get done but the upside to the whole ordeal is that, finally, it is done and running. Now that it's running again I have found that I got an even better deal on the motor I bought than I originally thought I did because the only thing that needed doing to it once it was completely installed, connected, etc etc was to have the timing set properly and Bam! This motor runs better than the engine that got removed did when I originally bought the car a few years ago. My mileage actually went up an average of 2mpg (small-time stuff to some but impressive to me ~ especially for an almost complete motor bought from eBay for under $500/shipped)

My 'Net access, for the moment, is still more sporadic than I would like but a tentative plan for some of my income tax return is a laptop w/ a wireless broadband plan so I wouldn't be at the mercy of other folks for computer time.

Yes, a '95 model. I've affectionately called it the "Geo-Rolla" off and on since I've owned it since the Prizm is the same thing as a Corolla, mechanically, and this one now even moreso since the engine that is now in it was pulled from a wrecked Corolla instead of just being the same motor that was used in the same year-model Corollas.

Thanks. They're okay but I liked the ones I had previously better. You'd have to see the friend who lives in the house I was parked in front of. I don't believe there are too many folks that would risk attempting to liberate any grub from him...

Rims are a couple inches too big imo. Tires looks better with a little bit of meat on them. Nice design though.

Also, lots of little stickers and vinyls make your car a thief magnet.
