no idea, i think they will be there as long as they are in your browsing history, too much **** built up?

Firefox for sure. While Chrome is faster, Firefox is more customizable.

In the end, I choose to support the non-profit Mozilla before Google.

I heard theres tweaks to make FF fast? but does that make it as fast as chrome lol?

No, it can't be as fast as chrome. I think the Minefield build is actually faster, though. Can't remember because I don't follow the browser wars anymore.

There are tweaks to FF, mostly centered around changing pipelining, I think. Just google and it will show you how to make the changes; you can use FasterFox, also, but I find it's better to adjust manually (so long as you keep down the original values so you can change it back later).

SR Ware Iron or Opera are usually my first two. Followed by FF, Chrome or Maxthon.

For some reason I had issues with fire fox in the last few months on two of my computers. I managed to make it crash a couple times one day and that was the end of it for me.

Went to chrome and I didn't like the interface right away. But it grew on my and now I can browse extremely fast, much faster then I ever could with fire fox. Some points that I love:

• The most visited websites homepage is a very neat trick. It makes up for the bookmarks layout, which I am not particularly fond of.
   
  
• When I have multiple tabs open, firefox would always increase the size of the tabs every time you closed one. This isn't a big deal, but sometimes I want to keep four tabs open and close 10 others down the line. Chrome has a delay for the adjustment, so you can literally quick fire and close all the tabs. As soon as you stop and pause, it adjusts the size after a couple seconds. Very cool.
   
  
• I like the simplicity. I honestly don't need all the attachments or extensions, so it works well for me.
   
  
• I always had trouble opening PDFs with firefox. For some reason chrome works better when opening larger PDFs in the window.
   
  
• The "incognito" window is a funny but useful feature I suppose. I don't really use it, but basically if you open an incognito window nothing is saved to the browser history.
