If that focal is a 27V2 then that is one of if not the best sq subs I have ever had the pleasure to hear. Loudest well no it’s not meant to knock pics off the walls but what it does do is create the most realistic sound I have yet to hear a sub make... I still say TC based as they are very close 2nd IMO on SQ but can take a butt load of power!! Oh did I mention they are just pure s e x.... The focal I saw was in a I want to say a 0.77cf box sealed of course. It did somewhat lack low end worked best above 38-40hz. Maybe it can play low 30's but from my experience if you want to get down into the high 20's-low 30's then you might need to rethink your setup... Again this is just from my personal experience and in no way is it written in stone. Might want to look into Seas L26ROY it’s also one heck of a good sq sub.. Only got a brief 2min demo with this sub so I can't comment much on it but from what I saw/heard it would be a great sq sub..... Never seen or heard but the word around is that the Hertz HX300D, Focal Polyglass 27 V1 are all from what I hear very nice sq subs.... Even after that all being said I say TC or nothing..... Just IMO hate away people ,
