i know theres much better out there but how does 250 sound for 2-12" RF p1s, prefab box(will swap with custom once the money is there), and 500 watt kenwood amp?

this is for a friend and hes not trying to spend more than 300 for everything, any suggestions

It sounds okay, but I never been a fan of P1's myself. I got a set of older model Powerbass 10's and a PA amp that puts out around 800rms that I'll let go for 185 shipped. PM me if interested in pics

thats not that great in my opinion. ive seen 2 P2 12"s on a ZX600.1 in a box for 200

thats alrite, but u could pry go with a 15(mach 5), and get a cheap amp that puts out 600-1000watts. TOgether that should be under 300 and be a ton louder than the p1s. Also ull need wiring, which is like 30$ on ebay and also box materials(make ur own box, the sub will sound so much better) which should be under 50$ to build. That gives u a pretty decent setup for less than 400.

Can u give us some info on what headunit he has? if he has a aftermarket cd player, all u have to do is connect remote and rcas behind it. If he has the stock unit still in, he will have to get a LOC(line out converter) to get lows from ur highs.

alright well I got the guy down to 200 for everything amp box and 2 subs, so I guess its alright I'm having trouble finding anything else for less than 300

And yeah I'm using an LOC, any hints on taking the dash apart I've never even sat in a cobalt
