Good deal?

I have been thinking about selling my 12 inch Type R's and going with these..

2 ported 12 boxes with dds

Was just curious if 350$ is a good price to pay for them.

also how do they compare to the 1242d Type R's?

What type of box are your type R's in? I those boxes are built right it's a decent deal but try and get him down a little...

The Type R's are in a prefab box, I got the guy to go down to 300 for a pair of DD's. Now I just need to sell the Type R's for a good price.

The Type R's always go on Craigslist for a decent price. I'm afraid you never got to see the R's potential with a prefab box. They're actually pretty decent subs they just like a big ported box tuned low. Did you have em' in a sealed or ported?

They are in a prefab ported box, I think I am actually going to keep the Type R's and just get a new ported box made for them. Also add another battery so I don't get terrible voltage drops like before.

Smart move. The Type Rs will get nasty in the right box, I think it's a good idea to play with a box just to find the Rs sweet spot. Once you find it, there are many respectable box builders right on this site.
