I like the fact it already has some nice rims..

Well, i called him.. he said it had no leaks or anything... plus he said he JUST put the rims and tires on.. brand new.. which kinda makes me think.. why would you do that then sell the car so cheap.. cuz thats 1200 right there..

Economy. Times are tuff

#1 he said he replaced the motor on it a day ago but the motor has 120K miles on it? It is an old motor and didn't cost him much.

#2 17" rims with a set of 1200$ tires? Doubt it. He's probably trying to make the deal sweeter.

There is no way jackass put a used motor in it and then the most expensive set of tires he could possibly find on a weak automatic transmission car.

Yeah, so he just did it so he could sell it cheap. Your argument is dumb.

#3 for the wear and tear it sounds like that 126K miles got the car it's most likely not even worth 1K by selling it for 1800 he's making money even factoring in what I'm betting is a 6-800 dollar set of tires.

GD you would argue with a fucking plant.
Yes if the plant told me something incorrect.

Now look at that car. The paint on the hood is all but gone, it's obviously got mechanical issues if the engine was replaced. it's a stretch to even call it "fair" condition. And we dodn't even know what the interior looks like. those new tires and rims and the 120k engine don't justify the additional price. You can dress up crap but it's still just dressed up crap.

That said I don't think anything is too fishy w/ the deal. I think seller just exaggerated too much with the description, and is making the deal look too good to be true. If that car was in perfect condition on a lot it wouldn't go for more than 1800. This one, even with improvements is no where near perfect condition.

FYI 1800 for that car is not cheap
are you talking about that certain car or eclipse in general? this is the lowest ive seen eclipse in my area.. all the others are between 2-4k.. and they would be stock.. atleast this one has rims and tires

i see how the car is worth 1800 by blue book.. but i just figure with going thru the trouble putting a engine in and buying rims and tires he would try and get alittle more out of it. thats atleast what others seem to do.. im not arguing i just didnt wanna buy a piece of shit even though its for work
