I dealt with all the major brands and it seemed like dell had the best reliablity, although the techs they hired to do warranty work were idiots.....

I've bought 6 dell laptops in the last year and haven't had an issue with any of them other than mine... but mine was my own fault but still got it covered under the warranty...

cause on that newegg link miker gave me, i found the same laptop except it was just WXGA, $50 cheaper, and had free shipping

they seem to be a decent budget laptop , but i wouldnt know. what you say the top 3 brands are as far as LT's?

That's cause Dell takes care of everything themselves.

They actually subcontract out. I had a friend I went to high school contract for them, and it was decent money but you didnt get paid nearly enough to justify your drives.... But the power supply's on there's are decent size, but I am mostly talking Desktops here, as there isnt much you can do for hardware support on any laptop if your not the company.

Im mainly talking about how much crap dell computers have installed on them when you turn it on for the first time. I hope my power supply doesnt break. Any certain model?

All of the ones they sold at walmart back then, they cut there price by putting under sized power supplies in.....

And All computers have all that garbage on them when you buy them, dell actually has the option to not have any of that stuff installed now. Except for the quckset stuff which actually functions very well,
