They could. We were working on some lines once moving them out of a construction site. Was a month long process. Well some dumptruck comes through with his box tilted up still tore down a bunch of stuff. No lines were cut but that driver was in real shit.

Geez, could have been a lot of death there.

Heh, nah. I was way the heck up north in Nunavut for a while working for a different Hydro Company. was there for only 6 months. It was awesome pay. But it's not steady work.

When I was there I was making something like 43$/h. Now that the work is over I am back to here and only making 24.50$/h. I am only starting my second year of apprenticrship.

The only part of me that is often frozen is my hands... I need to take my gloves off from time to time to do splice's and joints. Most of the guys I work with including myself will take more time to do a splice up here than anything else due to we do it a little bit at a time to prevent frostbite.
