D@mn, I'm sorry to hear you got screwed. But lesson learned. I've had my share of screw ups in the past as well. It's just better to pay more for reliability.mine didnt even do what is was rated at ,not even at idle ,it was supposed to be 220 amp and 110 at idle ,but only did 80 amps at idle
HahahahahahaJust say no to DC power, paid for an alt 16 months ago and still don't have it. Impossible to get a hold of and never get a return call. Look elsewhere as their customer service is the worst by far....
That's horrible. Always heard they take for ever to get an alt to you. I even remember a guy saying he had waited 2+ YEARS and was still getting the run around about an alt and bracket and he had several thousand invested! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Pretty lame because they seem to make great alts.Just say no to DC power, paid for an alt 16 months ago and still don't have it. x2 I think Nate is an awesome dude. He did a revision of my alt when I decided to go internally regulated and didnt charge me anything to convert it. I originally bought it as an externally regulated unit. I ran that for a year and he still changed it up for me for free. bran spankin new. EA is top dog in my book.Excessive Amperage is doing great for me. Priced well, awesome cust. service and their warranties are good as well. Need info on how to order PM me
I'm guessing you own a GM vehicle.been really happy with my DC alt. took only 2 weeks to get it and never had a problem with customer service. actually their customer service was awesome, I sent an email and 10 - 15min I had a phone call from them
