Good cheap head unit

Incase I decide not to get my Clarion fixed, is there any good head units for less than 200 bucks I could pick up? I know nothing owuld really match the Clarion in terms of functions, butI am quite angry with my HU at the moment.

I hear Eclipse, Nakamichi and Alpine are good. My friend has a Pioneer but it is kinda chincy for the rest of the stuff I'm running.

If Alpine, can you recommend a particular model?

Eclipse's 2 lowest prices models are under $200. If you want a great sounding deck(with a 3 year warranty if purchased from and installed by an authorized dealer), I would get an eclipse.

They have independant sub controls on tap? Like it's own dial or clicker? That's what I like/d most about the Clarion...

Eclipse doesn't the toggle bass control like the clarion(and clarion got rid of that on their next year's models....too many issues).

I'm really likin the 5425 but it's a tad pricey (yea, I'm a sucker for motorized trays). is there an equivelent 04 model that an Eclipse dealer would be willing to dell me for less money?
