If you're a noob and just want to add some bass w/o any trouble, try infinite basslink. In general bass tubes are garbage.

Bazooka's BT1024's can sound alright with a 40hz subsonic filter.

They tend to blend in with your front fullrange speakers well.

it's worth the effort to get a real sub though... for instance I have a Adire audio shiva (alot of people love these subs, including me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif) with a box for $110 + shipping.... then you need an amp + wiring but I could even cover you on the amp... in any case I'm not trying to sell it to you. Just saying there are better choices for not alot of money... or even work if you buy it from someone that has a box already...

If you are on a budget and are going to be a one subwoofer system man, then a bass tube is not the answer.

Very limited.
