Good 13cm components?

Just got a new car a clio and it only takes 13cm speakers in the front, i've tried getting my 6.5 edge components in but they just wont fit. I'm thinking about taking them back and just swapping them for the smaller version Halfords | Edge ED305 Component Speakers only thing is there only 70w rms, my 6.5's are 80w but i wanted something a bit more powerfuller anyway as my amp i will be using them outputs 90w and i would rather have my speakers rated a bit more than my amp so i dont risk blowing them. Is there anyone 13cm speakers that are more powerfuller than them ive been looking and there all like 40-50 odd.

Can you make custom speaker baffles to install 6.5" speakers?

Also if my math is right, 13cm should be just a hair smaller than a 5 1/4"? I have been running DLS stuff for the past 6 years and after hearing it compared to other stuff I won't buy anything else. They make 5.25" component sets too.

Your amp will power the smaller drivers just fine with no additional risk of blowing them vs. the 6.5 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The gain knob is your friend. Tune your system right and you won't blow the speakers

I heard some 25w alpines in halford and they sound 10x better than them edge even though there 70w they must be really low quality then, unfortunatly they wouldn't take my 6.5's back because i had to chop the connects on the crossover :\ so im just gonna save up for a good pair of 13cm's

Ive got a clio now

Ive found these, how would they all compare to my old edge ED306 6.5's, these are only 5.25's ? And would the vibe blackairs be worth the extra money?
