Message: <blockquote data-quote="helotaxi" data-source="post: 1434256" data-attributes="member: 550915">I wouldn't even consider building a box without screwing it together.  Especially with MDF, the glue bond is only skin deep (OK a bit more) and you don't have the grain of the wood to hold the wood itself together.  The wood will actually fail before the glue bond but it doesn't take much to cause the wood to fail really.Lowes isn't going to cut circles, and I wouldn't trust them to make the straight cuts to the correct dim. either.  I know Home Depot says to dim +/- .25"  and that isn't nearly close enough to build a box with.  Find a friend with a table saw if you want good results.  You can also get by with a Skil saw if you are patient and use a guide.</blockquote>
