Could the impact of the golf ball blow my little 6x9... OK how does this happen. My car was parked in a parking lot by a golf course and the rear windshield gets hit by a golf ball. The tint held the shatter together but my 6x9 (rear right) sounds blown. How did it blow. there is no glass by the speaker at all I don't even see how glass could get in ther because the holes on the protection cover are so small.

maybe you had a shard drop between the stand/post for the highs and the cone!?

I hope you get the golf course to pay for it...they make plenty of money....

The law varies state by state, but here in the communist wealth the golfer that hit the ball is held responsible not the golf course. There are signs posted at every course here stating that fact, and that the golf course isn't responsible for property damage. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

it was probably blown, you just didn't notice till you were looking for it.
+1... blown and you hadn't noticed.

Ditch the 6x9s, as well as the rear fill. Spend the money on a better front stage.

I disconnected the rear speakers a while ago. Front comps are more than enough for the passengers... Easier to hear them when its turned down too.

Wow, Ok so ditch the rear. I'm sh*t at this... Can someone give me an an idea of how to start doing a front comp (Picture maybe). Maybe someone has a link to get me started?
