Here is my cute SPL meter, its accurate within 1.5 db's of the termlab (I know this because I also own a termlab). It reads up to 160 dbs, so its a "real" meter, not some junky boomstick. It looks like its from the 70's or something, but this is actually how they come new from parts express, so I guess complain to the Goldline people on styling //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif anyways, if you click the link you'll see that these go for around $475 new,.... and im just wanting to sell mine for $200 shipped OBO or trade for a moderate sized amp (1200-1500 watts) or an Alpine/Eclipse head unit....if the head unit is nice enough, i'll even throw in some cash, batteries or a 12" sub depending on circumstance and offer.

i'll post up a pic of me actually using this to meter one of my subs here as soon as I find it.

Im open to interesting offers, but mainly im lookn for head units and amps. Im about all subwoofered out at the moment.

It has a mute button though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I know, but for us SPL burp guys we need pause buttons.....thanks though for your reply.

As for items for trading such as batteries, here is a link to my Alphacell battery thread, I can trade a few of these and the Goldline in on a nice DVD head unit or moderate sized amplifier...or combination of either with cash if the head unit is nice enough.

This meter is pretty fun to own, since its a battery powered SPL meter.... lets say you're hanging out on a friday night at your local custom car hangout, and someone says "my setup is louder than yours".. well just whip this Goldline out and test it, and shut them down fast //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I did it a few times for kicks, but I really dont need to be doing shit like that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

is it up 1.5db or below the tl reading
typically 1.5 higher. But if you know that up front you can just make a mental note of it and use it just fine....all of the goldlines are like this.

come on, someone has GOT to want to know what their system does, but cant afford a termlab.

lets see what ya got for trade bishez ! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif
