I have read a crap load of the tutorials/how to's, and am finaly going to try it. I am going to start with some kick panels for some 5.25 mid range drivers. or perhaps panels for a 6.5 mid bass if room allows. (should I put the 5.25 in the panel and 6.5 midbass in the door or vice versa?)

any last minute tips before I head to home depot? anything I might be forgetting to get???

This is the list I am using to get at HD....

These are the materials you will need; you can get just about everything at Home Depot:

- A gallon of fiberglass resin

- A coupe extra tubes of hardener

- 2 or 3 packages of fiberglass mat

- A big box of disposable gloves

- Lots and lots of cheap brushes (use bristle brushes, not foam)

- A dropcloth, painters tarp, or garbage bags

- A Dremel with a fiberglass cutting bit (#542)

- Painter's tape

- Fleece

- Spray adhesive/liquid nails/epoxy/hot glue gun

- Wood dowels

- Sandpaper

- Body filler

- A mold release agent (WD-40, vaseline, a non-stick cooking spray, astroglide, petroleum jelly, etc)

- Carpet or vinyl or paint and primer

- Coarse thread drywall screws

Thanks, wish me luck. oh yeah about how much will all this run?

probably around 100$...give or take 20$. good luck!

i wouldn't worry about the extra tubes of hardener.....being ur first time, it would be better if u mixed the resin "cooler"..give ya more time to work with it. takes a touch longer to dry, but it will also let ya work a lil longer with what u mixed.

good luck, and don't forget the pics!
